Elisabet Rodriguez presented an open session on “How to Make Conflict Work for You” at the University of Pittsburgh’s Katz School of Business in Prague. There was a full house for the two-hour program, attended by top executives from banking, the state-owned power company, insurance and consulting services, to name a few. Participants found the program very engaging and useful — and enjoyed the way the program was delivered through a mix of facilitation and role-playing.
In an interview with HR News Prague, Elisabet Rodriguez discussed how inter-cultural and inter-generational differences can lead to conflicts within companies. If these conflicts are not managed, they lead to a loss of loyalty and engagement among employees, as well as financial losses owing to low work productivity and creative deadlocks.
